Calling All Commissioners, Professionals, and Students!
Volunteering at conference offers numerous benefits, including the opportunity to expand your professional network by connecting with industry leaders and peers. It provides a platform to enhance your skills, gain hands-on experience, and demonstrate leadership qualities. By contributing your time, not only do you become an important part of the conference team, but you also gain visibility within your industry, which can lead to future career opportunities and personal development.
Students: Student volunteers are needed in additional operational roles at conference, including the All-Conference Awards Luncheon, Exhibit Hall Dessert Reception, conference sessions, and more! Students that are registered attendees of the conference, a full-time student in a park and recreation program, and a current IPRA member can receive a refund of their registration fee if they complete four volunteer hours at the conference. For more information, please contact Lindsay Thomas, 2025 IPRA Operations Chair, at lthomas@wilpark.org.
We’ve made volunteer sign-up easier for you! Upon completion of your online conference registration, select the volunteer tab in your registration confirmation and indicate whether you’d like to help in registration, with session moderating, the awards luncheon, or the dessert reception in the Expo Hall.
